The heart of every compressor is the air end for compressing the air. Green-Y relies on a patented screw technology in which water is used for lubrication, sealing and cooling. In combination with low speed, the compression temperature drops significantly. This enables us to achieve almost isothermal compression and up to 20% higher energy efficiency compared to established oil-free compressors.
Efficiency that pays off – and is promoted
Our water-injected air ends have been tested on the test benches of leading compressor manufacturers – with a clear result: compressors with Green-Y air ends are 20% more efficient than comparable competitor products. This enables significant savings in industrial energy costs. They are also the only oil-free Air-Ends that meet the eligibility criteria in the DACH region, e.g. BAFA in Germany and ProEDA from ProKilowatt in Switzerland.
